What is CBT?

CBT is the most common type of talk therapy that helps you become more aware of your negative thinking which affects how you feel about events in your life and as a person. CBT teaches you to see situations more realistically so you can respond to them in a more effective way.

CBT is primarily a “problem-focused” and “action-oriented” therapy where I help you learn coping strategies that work for you and your unique situations or difficulties. I help clients learn and practice a variety of skills and concepts to decrease problematic mental health symptoms and to increase your overall happiness and well-being.
