Thank you for visiting my website. It takes a lot of courage to seek help and ask for what we need. There are many counselling options out there and it is hard to know where to start, but this is a good starting point on that path.

I am a Registered Social Worker and therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience in providing consultations, evaluations and therapy for individuals and couples. I provide services exclusively through phone and Zoom and I am able to see clients who live anywhere in BC.

I can evaluate people for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also help people struggling with life transitions, stress, poor self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, grief/loss and family problems. I have worked extensively with trauma survivors including survivors of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. I also have great experience working in diverse communities as well as First Nations communities in North Central BC. I use a holistic approach and consider life events that bring people to counselling to be personal growth opportunities. I teach clients how to use skills from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

I obtained both my Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Sociology (Honours) and a Master’s Degree in Social Work specializing in clinical counselling from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. I spend my free time biking, practicing yoga, and travelling.
