Thank you for visiting my website. It takes a lot of courage to seek help and ask for what we need. There are many counselling options out there and it is hard to know where to start, but this is a good starting point.

I am a Registered Social Worker in British Columbia and received my Masters in Social Work at the University of Washington. I have been a therapist with over 23 years of clinical experience in providing consultations, evaluations and therapy for individuals and couples.

I am just now expanding my private practice into Washington State as of November 2024. I have spent the last 10 years in BC. I spent 20 years in Seattle and I’m working on the paperwork needed to be ‘grandfathered’ in for licensure in Washington State. I provide services exclusively through phone and Zoom and I am able to see clients who live anywhere in BC and Washington State. I’m covered through most insurance plans in BC, but not in the US as of yet.

I can evaluate and treat people for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also help people struggling with life transitions, stress, poor self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, grief/loss and family problems. I have worked extensively with trauma survivors including survivors of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. I also have great experience working with First Nations communities in northern BC. I use a holistic approach and consider life events that bring people to counselling to be personal growth opportunities. I teach clients skills using primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

My average client is between 20-35yo. I spend my free time biking, practicing yoga, and backpack travelling around the world. I’m interested in art, community organizing, sociology, and current events.
